JCC Booster Club Trivia Night

From the Johnson County Central Booster Club: The JCC Booster Club is excited to host a Trivia Night on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024.  The event will be hosted at the Cook Community Center (120 W Main St, Cook NE). The trivia will begin at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM. Registration will be opening on Monday, October 28th at 8 AM! Homecoming 2024

Johnson County Central celebrates Homecoming 2024 the week of September 8th-13th, 2024.  The week kicks off with the Community Pep Rally, Tailgate, & Bonfire on Sunday, Sept 8th at the High School Football Field. Students and staff can celebrate all week with the Spirit Week Dress Up Days Tuesday through Friday! On Friday, JCC will have the annual Homecoming Parade around the square, finishing with the Pep Rally at the football field. Then help cheer on the Thunderbirds as JCC hosts the Falls City Sacred Heart Irish . . .

If you're not already familiar with Remind, it's a classroom communication tool that makes it easy to stay involved with your child's learning. At the Striv Summer Workshop on Thursday, June 20th, 2024, Striv announced the 2023-24 Striv School Score winners… Johnson County Central finished in 1st Place of all Striv Schools! Outdoor Video Board Project

Imagine high quality features making the in-venue video board experience as good as the major universities… We are looking to install a new fixed digit scoreboard and video board at the football field. This would be one of the first outdoor video boards in Southeast Nebraska at a high school football field. 2009 MUDECAS Championship Anniversary

Please join us on Saturday as we honor the 2009 JCC Girls Basketball Team on the 15th anniversary of winning the MUDECAS A Division Championship! SURVEY CLOSED: We are not currently accepting responses to this survey as of 12/11/2023. Thank you to everyone who has submitted their feedback! Due to the non-passage of the July 2023 bond election for the construction of a PK-12 facility, JCC’s school board is now considering the next steps to unify the school district to one site. HOSA/FHP Fundraiser

The JCC HOSA (Health Occupations Student Association)/FHP (Future Health Professionals) is fundraising for supplies needed to study for competitions. State HOSA is held in March 2024 and the JCC HOSA chapter working to obtain funds to pay for registration and books to learn more about the topic the students are competing in. Homecoming 2023 Bonfire, Spirit Week, & Pep Rally

Johnson County Central welcomes all Thunderbirds to Homecoming 2023 the week of September 10th-15th, 2023.  NOTICE: 12:15 PM 9/15/23 -  In an attempt to stay ahead of forecasted rain, we are starting the parade approximately 30 minutes early .  Therefore, the parade will begin between 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM followed by the pep rally at the football stadium. Following the pep rally, high school students will be dismissed immediately. Middle school and elementary students will be dismissed at 3:30 PM.  . . .

Athletic Buttons Available Now!

The JCC Cheerleaders and the Journalism class are working together to bring you athletic buttons! Pictures of all the athletes have been taken. Please refer to the flyer for more information on how to obtain a button with your favorite athlete on display. You are able to order by filling out a flyer (one per athlete) or scanning the QR code and filling out a Google form (one per athlete). Upcoming Bond Building Plans – A Brief Overview

The images below are current plans for a potential future JCC school on the proposed site (which is approximately 50 acres of farm ground Northeast of the football field at the Tecumseh site). The plans work from East to West on the proposed site with the first (easternmost) image being the highest in elevation. As the building plans move Westward, the elevation drops with each image. Student Feedback - Visioning Activity

In November, 14 JCC high school students took part in a “Visioning Activity” in collaboration with the 4 County Collaborative and Mr. Craig Schroeder, Board President of the Heartland Center for Leadership Development. During the activity, the students discussed ways in which they could improve their communities and created diagrams for their “vision” for the future.
