Homecoming Spirit Week 2018

Johnson County Central will celebrate Homecoming Spirit Week on October 15th through the 18th. The school-wide parade & pep rally will be on Thursday, October 18th. (There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, October 19th.)

The Parade will begin at the High School at approximately 2:00 pm, then progress down to the square where the students and staff will parade around the square and back to the High School. The Pep Rally will begin after the parade at the JCC High School Football field. The schedule for the Pep Rally will be as follows:

1. School Song
2. Crowd Cheer - Come on Crowd Yell it Loud
3. Crowd Cheer - Bump a Rump!
4. Kiss the ??? contest – FBLA
5. Cheerleaders - Special Activity
6. Homecoming Attendants – activity
7. Homecoming Candidates – activity
8. Cheerleaders - Special Activity
9. Crowd Cheer - Central Fans Stand up and Scream
10. Crowd Cheer - Hail - Hail!
11. School Song

The parade route will begin at the High School along 6th street and moving south to Broadway, then heading west to 3rd Street, south to Clay Street, east to 4th Street, and back north to Broadway. The stretch of the parade will move east on Broadway to 6th Street and north on 6th Street back to the High School.

The week will conclude on Friday, October 19th with the football game versus Syracuse at 7:00 P.M. Coronation of the Homecoming King & Queen will immediately follow the conclusion of the game. Monday, October 15th: Color Wars
Seniors: Black, Juniors: White, Sophomores: Blue, Freshmen: Pink, 8th Grade: Neon Yellow, 7th Grade: Neon Orange, 6th Grade: Neon Green, 5th Grade: Purple, 4th Grade: Brown, 3rd Grade: Green, 2nd Grade: Yellow, 1st Grade: Orange, Pre-K & Kindergarten: Red, All Staff: Tie Dye

Tuesday, October 16th: College Day
Dress up representing your favorite college or college sports team!

Wednesday, October 17th: Homecoming Theme Day - "HOLLYWOOD"
Dress up as your favorite Hollywood movie star, diva, etc

Thursday, October 18th: JCC Spirit Day
Dress up and show your school spirit!

Friday, October 19th: NO SCHOOL! Football vs Syracuse @ 7 PM (Coronation & Dance to follow)

All students are asked to wear appropriate attire. We want Spirit Week to be fun and enjoyable and the privilege not taken away! Thank you and have a fun Spirit Week!
