JCC Event & Protocol Updates (9/29/2020)

EVENT UPDATES:
Due to COVID-related reasons here are the upcoming changes to our activities:
Girls Golf:
Thursday, October 1st, JCC will not be participating in the Lincoln Christian Invite
Football:
Friday, October 2nd: at Palmyra has been canceled
Monday, October 5th: JV with Conestoga has been canceled
Volleyball:
Tuesday, Sept 29th - triangular with Weeping Water and Louisville has been canceled
Thursday, October 1st: vs Pawnee City -- postponed until Friday, October 16th (in Pawnee City)
Saturday, October 3rd: JCC Varsity Invite has been canceled
Athletes will be notified by coaches of any changes to any practice schedules.

HIGH SCHOOL HYBRID LEARNING UPDATES:
Here is the all-call message that was released concerning updates for the high school related to COVID protocols (9/29/2020):
Good afternoon, this is Rick Lester principal of JCC High School. I have important information I need to get out to our students and parents. Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the high school, we are moving to less movement in our building to minimize contact with individuals. Therefore, on Thursday, October 1st, the high school will be implementing a new hybrid learning schedule. All high school students will be zooming all their classes in a homeroom your students will be assigned to in the high school building.
I would encourage you to ask your student to bring the hybrid learning schedule and protocols home for you to view. All students have received a copy of this. Our goal is to have the least amount of contact with other students or staff members that are outside their homerooms.
High school students will not have school on Wednesday, September 30th to give high school teachers time to prep for this new schedule. If you have any questions, I can be reached at school. Thank you!
