New Calculators in Math Classroom

I would like to recognize and thank the Tecumseh Public Schools Foundation Inc. for providing the funds to purchase 75 Texas Instruments-30XIIS scientific calculators for use in my math classroom. These calculators will be checked-out to each of the students in Applied Math 1, Applied Math 2, Beginning Algebra, and Advanced Algebra classes this school year. This will ensure each student has access to a calculator, as well as provide consistency in the class when it comes to learning new functions the calculators are capable of performing. I also believe this will increase student participation in small group problem solving, and also when working example problems as a class during lesson instruction.
