National FFA Week
February 20, 2015
The JCC FFA Chapter is celebrating National FFA Week -- February 21-28, 2015. FFA is the largest student organization at JCC -- and with 66 members, it is the largest it's ever been!
This year, you can help celebrate with a week full of dress up days:
- Monday: Slip on your cowboy boots
- Tuesday: Favorite tractor brand clothes
- Wednesday: Flannel shirt day
- Thursday: Dollar hat day
- Friday: Wear your FFA official dress
"It's a good way to promote our organization," said Lindsay Weber, vice president of the chapter. "We are a very active student group. We go to different contests, provide community service and attend state and national convention. And this week is great to promote FFA."
The JCC FFA chapter makes a positive difference in the lives of our members by going all out in promoting our potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Today’s FFA members are tomorrow’s leaders of America’s number one industry -- agriculture. Visit FFA.org today for more information and how you can support your local FFA chapter and go all out in promoting agricultural education and FFA.
