Contest Season

Contest Time Contest time is approaching in the music department! The HS band is diligently getting ready for MUDECAS contest as well as District Music Contest which JCC is hosting both this year. We do have a number of students that are also working on small groups or solos. As for the middle school, we are also within contest time. The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be going to the annual HTRS Music Contest where our large groups will perform a couple of songs and there will be a selection of small groups and solos that will also perform. I was impressed with the number of middle school students that wanted to try out to be in a small group or solo. Please keep encouraging that with your students!

- March 3 - Freshmore in Tecumseh
- March 11 - MS Concert in Cook (7:00pm)
- March 25 - HS MUDECAS Music Contest in Tecumseh
- March 28 - 6-8 Band - HTRS Band Contest
- March 29 - CLASS C All-State Band - Kearney, NE
- April 4 - Meridian MS Honor Choir and Band
- April 10 - HS Pre-Contest Concert 7:00pm
- April 24 - HS District Music Contest in Tecumseh
- May 5 - HS Spring Concert and Art Show
- May 10 - HS Band at Graduation
- May 12 - ECNC Honor Band - at Elmwood-Murdock
